String Quartet: 
      The String quartet is most requested ensemble.  It has a full sound and a huge repertoire of music to choose from  A String Quartet also is an ideal choice whenever  background music is needed allowing for comfortable background conversation. 

String Trio:
      A string trio works well for small intimate settings.  two violins and a cello.  The addition of the Cello to two violins makes a rich sound providing a wide palette of textures.  Although not as common as a string quartet, a trio is an elegant touch to any occasion.  

Duets and Soloists:
      Two stringed instruments is a popular choice.  Our principal artists also perform as soloists.  The Scottsdale String Quartet can offer you ensembles from one to eight musicians.
